Info from Licensor: "This video shows my cat, Athena, taking some of her first steps thanks to custom leg braces. I adopted Athena in June of 2024. I saw her on Petfinder and just knew I needed to meet her. Her front legs were twisted and she couldn't walk. Instead, she slid around on the floor, causing pressure sores and spinal problems. As a wheelchair user myself, I felt so deeply connected to Athena and wanted to do everything I could to improve her quality of life. I went to four different vets until I found a veterinary orthopedic surgeon and a rehab specialist who were crazy enough to take on her case. We went through a few rounds of measurements and cast moldings before finally receiving her custom leg braces. I was told to have zero expectations and that it would be weeks or months before she was even standing. But instead, just a week after getting her braces, she started walking! She just recently finished physical therapy and has far exceeded anyone's expectations."
