Out of nowhere, the wood above gave way mid-swing — sending me flying and crashing to the ground. I just laid there in stunned silence, while my friend on the other end kept rambling completely unaware I’d just had a near-death sitcom moment. The mix of pain, shock, and their clueless commentary turned it into pure comedy."
