Occurred on December 17, 2025 / Guangdong Province, China Info from Licensor: "A video showed a black-collared starling standing on top of its cage. The filmer teased the bird by asking, “How does a chicken sound? Gugu!” Hearing the prompt, the bird lowered its head and produced a series of “gugu” calls in response. After several rounds, it grew tired, squinting its eyes as if resting while the filmer joked about it needing a break. This species, known as the Black-collared Starling, is a protected animal and is well known for its quick mimicry.
