Info from Licensor: "With the improvement in accuracy in the altimeter now RVSM (Reduced Vertical Separation Minima) rules allow vertical separation in approved transoceanic airspace. If you think that those two airplanes are already that close, how is the third airplane recording in the same airspace? Because that’s normal, Trans-Atlantic routes are planned in a corridor that has convenient winds and the flight levels are always separated by 1000ft, this has been standard for many years now.
