In this clip, filmed in May 2022, his handler tries to approach Sushi at the Uganda Wildlife Education Center while he is making the characteristic machine-gun like sounds that his species is famous for. Sushi gets an attitude and brushes him off with a sassy wing flip before sauntering off. This video is an excellent example of the hilarious and entertaining attitude of the famous Shoebill stork, a most prehistoric-looking bird. This video is also wonderful because it allows people to hear the actual unique sounds of the shoebill.
